Demonstrations, workshops
& lectures
The exchange of knowledge is central to my practice. Since 2010, I have delivered over a hundred creative workshops tailored to adult learners, engaging participants across the UK and Australia. My approach combines technical skill-building through choice-based education to foster well-being and creative confidence. My experience spans many sectors, including:
Further Education
Prior to my move to Australia, I was a Lecturer in Drawing and
Painting at the Hitchin Campus of North Hertfordshire
College (NHC via Hart's Protocol) for approximately 5 years. I designed and delivered two term time programmes that formed
part of NHC's Adult Further Education Programmes for
beginners and improvers.
Museum & Cultural Engagement
I designed bespoke workshops for Lowewood Museum, Broxbourne, UK (
managed by Epping Forest District Council). These sold out events involved the learners reimaging works from special exhibtions:
Printmaking (Dec 2019), Drawing and
Painting with Watercolour Pencils (March 2020).
I continue to lead bespoke workshops through DuncanRice
Studios , please contact via the studios if you would like further information on workshops or demonstrations.
